Indian Navy Sailor AA-SSR Recruitment  2022: Salary

The selected candidates will be offered a Stipend  of INR 14,600/- per month during the training period.

On successful completion of  training periods, they will be paid under INR 21,700-  69,100. In addition, they will be paid MSP INR 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} INR 3600/- per month plus DA (as applicable) as under trainee and INR 6200/- per month plus DA on successful completion of AICTE recognised Diploma Course}.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Secondary Recruit – Aspirants should be Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths and Physics as subjects and at least one of following subjects: Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Indian Ministry of Education.

Artifice Apprentice –  Aspirants should have passed 10+2 examination with more than  60% marks in Maths & Physics and any  one of the subjects: Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Indian Ministry of Education.

Age Limit:

Aspirants should be born between 01 Aug 2002 and 31 Jul 2005 (Both dates inclusive).

Indian Navy Sailor AA-SSR Recruitment  2022: How to apply online?

For this recruitment, the candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY on the official website of Indian Navy from starting 29 March 2022 until 5 April 2022. Step-by-step online application procedure is as follows

Step 1: Log on to www.joinindiannavy.gov.in with your e-mail ID, if not registered already. The Applicants must see to it that while filling their Application Form, they are writing their active and valid e-mail IDs and mobile numbers, which should remain unchanged till selection procedure is over.

Step 2: ‘Sign–in’ with the registered E-mail ID and Select “Current Opportunities”.

Step 3: Select the “Apply” button.

Step 4: Make sure that you fill the form completely. Before selecting the ‘Submit’ button ensure that all the given details are correct, all necessary documents are scanned in original & uploaded.

Step 5: Online applications will be further scrutinized for qualification and may be rejected at any stage, if found ineligible in any way.

Step 6: Photographs. Recent Good quality colour photograph with blue background should be used.

Indian Navy Sailor AA-SSR Recruitment  2022: Exam Pattern

• Written examination will be common for both AA and SSR entries.
• The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying  a single mark.
• The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type multiple choice in nature.
• The question paper will have four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and GK.
• The standard of the question paper will be that of Higher Secondary Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on the official website of Indian Navy.
• Duration of examination will be one hour or 60 minutes.
• The aspirants are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. The Navy holds the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.
• Penalty for Wrong Answer: Aspirants should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrongly answered questions by the candidate in the question paper. There are four  choices for the answer to every question. For each question for which the candidate has answered wrongly, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be reduced as penalty.

Indian Navy Sailor AA-SSR Recruitment  2022: Selection Process 

Selection process consists of three phases.

Phase I: Written test – Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test.

For AA its based on all India order of merit and for SSR it will based on State wise merit.

Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) –  The candidates will be made to run for 1.6 Km  in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Aspirants undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.

Phase III: Medical Exam – Height must be 157 cms minimum. Weight and Chest should be proportionate as per the rules. Minimum chest enlargement of 5 cms.
