Age Limit:
- The prescribed Age limit by the commission is 21-30 years.
- The candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post
- Generally, age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.
Education Qualification:
- The candidates must posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce or equivalent Degree from a recognized University of Kerala .
- The applicants must submit certificate in computer applications which should not be less than six months duration.
- The certificate provided must be recognized by the State Government.
- The applicants who presents equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification must submit the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
- It is then only such qualification, given by the applicant shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.
- In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application by the candidate and that entered in SSLC book, the applicants must produce a Gazette notification stating the same.
- The candidates who belong to Non Creamy Layer Certificate or Community Certificate must produce respective documents at the time of certificate verification.
- According to the Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of procedure 1976, suitable disciplinary action will be taken against those applicants who submit application for the post with bogus claims of qualification and submit confirmation for examination, irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination.

Steps to Apply for the KPSC Technician Grade II Exam
- The applicants must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission.

- The candidates must first register before applying for the post.
- Applicants who have registered can apply by logging on to their respective profile using their User-ID and password.
- The applicants must tap on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for the above mentioned post.
- The documents such as, photograph uploaded in the profile should be one taken after 31.12.2011.
- The Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion of the photograph.
- The candidates must be aware that the photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading.
- Candidates must note that there is no change in other instructions with respect to the uploading of photographs.
Documents required for the KPSC Technician Grade II Exam
- Candidates must be responsible for the correctness of the personal information provided by them and secrecy of password.
- The candidates must be check before the final submission of the application, and must ensure correctness of the information given on their profile.
- The candidates must use the User-ID for further communication with the Commission.
- The candidates must be aware that application once submitted is received as provisional and the details cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
- Applicants are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference.

- The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the given period will be rejected absolutely, which cannot be retrieve later at any cost.
