NEET examination is one of the most important and most participated recruitment examinations that is been held in the country. NEET examination is conducted under the supervision of the National talent Agency (NTA) and the examination is conducted every year. Candidates from various parts of the country prepare for this examination every year and appear for the examination. The official notification inviting applications from the candidates were published by the commission in the month of March. The application can be warmly be welcomed by the candidates and a great registration was noted. Because of the issues and delays caused because of Covid-19, the NEET examination was held at different centers across the country on September 18, 2021. NEET Eligibility 2021

The candidates who are applying for the NEET examination must meet certain eligibility criteria to make their applications. The given below are the criteria that each candidate has to meet so as to make the application.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age of a candidate as of December 31, 2021, should be 17 years
  • The rule specifying the maximum age limit of the candidate was challenged last year in the court of law. Thus, there is no upper age limit as of now and candidates older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2021 will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi.

Nationality

For the candidates to make the application to the NEET examination, they have to meet certain nationality criteria. Here are the nationality criteria that each candidate has to qualify for making the application.

  • Indian Nationals
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
  • Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
  • Foreign Nationals

Educational Qualification & Mandatory Subjects

Here is the educational qualification that every candidate should have.

  • Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized institute
  • Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in summer 2021 can also apply for NEET 2021
  • Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from an open school are also eligible.

Here are the mandatory subjects every candidate should have studied in the higher secondary classes.

  • Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible

Qualifying Marks

Candidates who are applying for the NEET Examination must have got certain qualifying marks in the higher secondary examination that they have appeared in. Here is the information regarding the qualifying marks.

  • General category: 50 percent
  • PWD category: 45 percent
  • SC/ST/OBC: 40 percent

How to Apply for NEET Exam 2021?

For candidates who wish to make an application for the NEET examination, 2021 can submit the application through the official website of NTA. Here are the steps that every candidate has to follow so as to submit the application for the NTA NEET examination 2021.

  • Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and register for NEET-UG 2021
  • Fill all the mandatory fields in the online form, including the personal and academic details
  • Upload the required documents such as scanned copies of photographs, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and Class 10 Certificate
  • To complete the process, pay the stipulated fee as mentioned below
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page and preserve it for future reference

NEET Admit Card 2021

Admit card is the most important document for the examination. The admit card for the examination will be available from the official website from September 6th, 2021. Candidates who have applied for the post can download the admit card from their candidate login and must bring the admit card to the examination hall. Candidates who fail to bring the admit card won’t be allowed to appear for the examination or to enter the examination hall.

After downloading the admit card from the official website, candidates had to take a printout of the same and paste a recent postcard-sized photograph (preferably the same as the one uploaded with the application form) in the space provided in 4″x6″ dimensions. Also, candidates must get it signed by a parent/guardian before the exam day. However, they must not sign on the admit card unless instructed by the invigilator, on the day of the exam.

NEET Result 2021

After the completion of the examination, the agency will publish the rank list of NEET examination 2021 through the official website. The NEET examination for the year 2021 was conducted on September 18, 2021, and it is expected that the examination results will be published very soon through the official website. Here are the details regarding the NEET examination 2021 results. Here are the steps that candidates can follow in order to download the results from the official website.

  • Go to the official website of NEET @neet.nta.nic.in
  • Navigate to the ‘Download Result’ tab
  • Enter the roll number, password or date of birth, and security pin
  • NEET 2021 scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and print the scorecard for future reference

NEET Expected Cut off 2021

The cut-off for NEET 2021 is not officially published by the commission yet. Here are the details regarding the NEET cut off of 2021 (Expected), which the candidates can take into consideration in order to get an idea about the expected cut off.

NEET 2021: Counselling

NEET Counselling is expected to be get started in the month of November 2021 through online mode as the result is published by the commission. The counseling of NEET is organized by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) and MOHFW (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare). Centralized counseling is organized every year by MCC for the NEET-qualified candidates.

In the counseling process, students will have to register for counseling, make choice and lock it, have a lot of seats, and report to the allotted college. Students also have to submit their original /photocopies of documents or certificates. These documents are:

  • 10th & 12th Passing Certificate
  • Mark Sheets
  • NEET Rank Card/ Rank Letter
  • NEET Admit Card
