NEET Eligibility 2021
The candidates who are applying for the NEET examination must meet certain eligibility criteria to make their applications. The given below are the criteria that each candidate has to meet so as to make the application.
Age Limit
- The minimum age of a candidate as of December 31, 2021, should be 17 years
- The rule specifying the maximum age limit of the candidate was challenged last year in the court of law. Thus, there is no upper age limit as of now and candidates older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2021 will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi.
Nationality
For the candidates to make the application to the NEET examination, they have to meet certain nationality criteria. Here are the nationality criteria that each candidate has to qualify for making the application.

- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)

Educational Qualification & Mandatory Subjects
Here is the educational qualification that every candidate should have.
- Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized institute
- Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in summer 2021 can also apply for NEET 2021
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent from an open school are also eligible.
Here are the mandatory subjects every candidate should have studied in the higher secondary classes.
- Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible
Qualifying Marks

How to Apply for NEET Exam 2021?

- Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and register for NEET-UG 2021
- Fill all the mandatory fields in the online form, including the personal and academic details
- Upload the required documents such as scanned copies of photographs, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and Class 10 Certificate
- To complete the process, pay the stipulated fee as mentioned below
- Take a printout of the confirmation page and preserve it for future reference

NEET Admit Card 2021
Admit card is the most important document for the examination. The admit card for the examination will be available from the official website from September 6th, 2021. Candidates who have applied for the post can download the admit card from their candidate login and must bring the admit card to the examination hall. Candidates who fail to bring the admit card won’t be allowed to appear for the examination or to enter the examination hall.
After downloading the admit card from the official website, candidates had to take a printout of the same and paste a recent postcard-sized photograph (preferably the same as the one uploaded with the application form) in the space provided in 4″x6″ dimensions. Also, candidates must get it signed by a parent/guardian before the exam day. However, they must not sign on the admit card unless instructed by the invigilator, on the day of the exam.
NEET Result 2021
After the completion of the examination, the agency will publish the rank list of NEET examination 2021 through the official website. The NEET examination for the year 2021 was conducted on September 18, 2021, and it is expected that the examination results will be published very soon through the official website. NEET 2021: Counselling
NEET Counselling is expected to be get started in the month of November 2021 through online mode as the result is published by the commission. The counseling of NEET is organized by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) and MOHFW (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare).
