Eligibility Criteria

• Year of Passing: 2027 only.
• Courses: 3-year full-time graduates from BCom, BA, BAF, BBI, BBA, BBE, BFM, BHRM, BIBF, BBM, BMS, BSc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Biology, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Geology, Hospitality, Tourism Management).
• Backlogs: One active backlog allowed at the time of the selection process; however, the course must be completed within the stipulated university duration without backlogs to join TCS if selected. Extended education is not eligible.
• Education Gap: Must declare gaps in the application; overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification.
• Course Type: Only full-time courses considered (part-time/correspondence not eligible). NIOS 10th/12th accepted if other courses are full-time.
• Age: Minimum 18 years, maximum 28 years.
• Work Experience: Role is for trainees; prior experience, if any, must be declared.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in 24×7 rotational night shifts depending on project requirements.

Application Process: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Register on TCS Next Step Portal

• Visit https://nextstep.tcs.com.
• Click “Register Now”.
• Select category as “BPS”.
• Fill the Candidate Registration Form to generate a Reference ID (DT number).

Step 2: Update Personal Details

• Enter Name and Date of Birth exactly as per Aadhaar card.
• Verify all details before submission; incorrect details may lead to disqualification.

Step 3: Apply for the Drive

• Existing Users: Log in with your DT number and OTP, complete the application form, then click ‘Apply for Drive’.
• New Users: Register under category ‘BPS’, fill details, submit the form, and click ‘Apply for Drive’.

Step 4: Select Test Mode and Centre

• Choose test mode as ‘In-centre’.
• Select your preferred test centre (cannot be changed later).
• Click Apply.

Step 5: Confirm Application Status

• Go to ‘Track Your Application’.
• Ensure status shows ‘Applied for Drive’.

Test Pattern

• Duration: 65 minutes.
• Sections:
  • Verbal Ability
  • Numerical Ability
  • Logical Reasoning

The selection process will be in-person, and schedule details will be shared via the registered email ID.

Photograph Specifications

• Recent passport-size colour photograph.
• Dimensions: 35 mm x 35 mm.
• Resolution: 300 PPI.
• Format: .jpg or .jpeg.
• File size: Maximum 1 MB.
• White/off-white background; shoulders and both ears clearly visible.
• No selfies or informal photos; look directly into the camera.

CV Guidelines

• File size should not exceed 500 KB.
• Do not include photos or hyperlinks in the CV.
