TSSPDCL Recruitment 2022 Notification: Eligibility
Junior Lineman: SSLC or SSC or 10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade or Wireman or 2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Trade only from a recognized Institution or Board of combined A.P or Telangana State Education Department as on the date of notification. Aspirants who want to apply for the positions mentioned above are advised to check the education qualification, and age limit through the official notification(once released).
Assistant Engineer: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the UGC or University Grants Commission / AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Assistant Engineer: Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years as on 1 Jan 2022 .
Junior Lineman: 10 years of relaxation in the upper age limit is not applicable for JLM or Junior Lineman posts to be filled by TSSPDCL. As per the decision of TSSPDCL, physical endurance is necessary for this duty of Junior Lineman climbing electric poles and performing duty in most dangerous conditions, hence no relaxation can be given for these posts.
But, the officials have been informed by the company that the relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit will be allowed only for the posts of Assistant Engineer and Deputy Engineer.
- The Upper age limit is relaxedup to 10 years i.e., from 34 years to 44 years.
- The Upper age limit of 44 years is relaxable up to 5 years in respect of SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates and up to 10 years in respect of PH or Physically Handicapped candidates.

TSSPDCL Recruitment 2022 Notification: Exam Centre
The written examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineer or AE (Electrical) will be held at different centres located in GHMC area.
TSSPDCL Recruitment 2022 Notification: Exam pattern
- The exam is of two hours duration. The date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Hall ticket.
- Aspirants should reach the test centre in time. They have to report 60 Minutes before the examination time at the examination venue.
- They will not be allowed into the examination hall after the exam has started and will not be permitted to leave examination hall before the closure of examination time under any situation.
- The test will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions with only one answer being correct among the four alternatives suggested.
- A separate O M R or Optical mark Reader answer sheet will be provided to the candidates.
- The candidate has to indicate his or her response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen.
- The provisional key will be available on the official website within 3 days of written examination.
- If there are any objections on the provisional key, the same can be raised within 3 days from the date of placing of provisional key via email : firstname.lastname@example.org.
- The objections if any would be examined by the officials and the decision of the TSSPDCL in this regard shall be final.
- Any objection filed after expiry of given time from the date of publication of key or revised key would not be accepted.

TSSPDCL Recruitment 2022 Notification: Selection Process
- The selection of aspirants for appointment will be made 100% on Written examination only.
- In the event of tie in written exam marks, aspirants whose age is higher will be ranked high. In the event of tie thereon, the marks obtained in Part-A section of the exam paper will form basis for deciding the rank.
- Only those individuals who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be called for verification of Original Certificates in the ratio 1:1.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination for the Assistant Engineer selection process shall be as follows:
- OC & EWS – 40%
- BC – 35%
- SC/ST – 30%
- PH – 30%
Note: Mere securing minimum qualifying marks doesn’t vest any right to a aspirant for being called for verification of original certificates or for appointment.
- The selection list will consist of two parts. The 1stpart will comprise 5% of the posts consisting of combined merit list and the remaining 2nd second part will comprise of 95% of the posts consisting of the aspirants belonging to the TSSPDCL Discom jurisdiction only and the posts will be filled, following the present rules and other rules of reservation issued from time to time.
- The aspirants will be selected and allotted to various places in TSSPDCL jurisdiction.
