UPSC CAPF AC Cutoff 2021

The Union Public Service Commission has recently held a Written Examination on August 2021 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant recruitment process includes two papers. Paper I:  General Ability and Intelligence for 250 Marks, and the Paper II:: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension for 200 Marks. While the questions in paper-1 will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi, for the Paper-II aspirants have the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, (but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be in English only). Based on candidates performance in the written examination, they will be then summoned for Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. The commission then prepares the final merit list based on candidates performance in Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test. For any graduate who wishes to join any of the central uniform services, UPSC’s CAPF Assitant Commandant is the best available option. • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
• Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
• Border Security Force (BSF)
• Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
• National Security Guard (NSG)

Among them, the ITBP, SSB, CISF, CRPF, and BSF uses the UPSC’s Assistant Commandant recruitment to hire eligible graduates to the Assistant Commandant position. Thus hired will be on the Grade A gazetted rank on the pay band-3 with a pay scale of Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500.
