UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Recruitment – Apply for 159 Posts

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has released an official notification inviting all the interested and eligible candidates for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2021. Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2021 is May 5. Further, the candidates can withdraw the online application from May 12 to May 18.

The CAPFs include Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). A total of 159 vacancies are available of which under 35 for BSF, 36 for CRPF, 67 for CISF, 20 for ITBP and 1 for SSB.

UPSC CAPF AC Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for UPSC CAPF AC 2021

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

Nationality

No person who is not a citizen of India shall, except with the consent of the Central Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules. Provided that nothing contained in these rules shall debar the appointment, enrolment or employment of a subject of Nepal or Bhutan under these Rules.

Male and Female

Age limit

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 25 Years
•  He/she must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2001.

Selection Procedure

The selection process will be done in 3 states that are Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests and Interview/Personality Test.

Height:

• Men – 165 cm
• Women – 157 cm

Chest:

• Men – 81 cm

Weight:

• Men – 50 Kg
• Women – 46 Kg
