BACK2BACK will focus on highlighting ways in which people can help their spines by staying mobile, avoiding physical inactivity, not overloading their spines and adopting healthy habits such as weight loss and smoking cessation. Focusing its attention on spinal pain and disability at home, in the workplace, in schools and in our communities, this day can be made a great sccess.
What can I do to participate in World Spine Day 2021?
World Spine Day 2021 theme is “Your Back In Action”. You can arrange or participate in an active event in your community which might include a yoga class, fun run, or bike ride.
Health fairs or workshops are a great way to demonstrate the importance of proper posture (like how to bend and lift properly office ergonomics, how core strength supports good posture, and much more) are also great ways to celebrate this day.
