As an Associate Automation Test Engineer in the Quality Engineering team, you will:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to design, execute, and maintain automated test solutions.
- Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Continuously learn and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about software testing, automation, and delivering high-quality applications.

Key Skills Required
- 0–2 years of experience
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver
- Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python
- Understanding of API testing concepts using Postman or REST Assured
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to TestNG, JUnit, or BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Internship or academic project experience in automation testing is an advantage
