The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has begun the recruitment for the post of headmaster primary. The online application process for the appointment of Headmaster Primary started on 28 March 2022. The registration for the recruitment of the BPSC headmaster will be available until 22 April 2022 at bpsc.bih.nic.in. BPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022
For applying for the post of headmaster one should fulfill the following educational qualifications.
- You must be a citizen of India and a resident of Bihar Province. Only candidates residing in Bihar state can apply for this post.
- The candidates applying for the examination should hold a degree. Graduation degree from any recognized university with a 50% mark. 5% rest will be awarded for minimum marks for SC / ST / EBC / BC / Differently able / female and EWS students. I
- ‘Aalim’ degrees obtained from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University, Patna / Bihar State Madarsa Education Board and Shastri degrees from Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be treated equally with graduation.
- D.El.Ed / B.T / B.Ed. / B.A.Ed / BSc.Ed / B.L.Ed qualification
- Teacher Qualification Assessment For those teachers who joined in 2012 or further and Those Teachers who joined before 2012 should have a Qualified efficiency Assessment.

Relevant experience
- The candidates who apply for the post of headmaster should have a minimum of 8 Years of regular service as a Panchayat Elementary Primary School Teacher teacher under the Panchayat Raj Institutions and Urban Local Body Institutions.
- A teacher with a degree from the Panchayati Raj Institutions or urban body institutions whose services are certified.
Headmaster Primary Exam Pattern for BPSC 2022
There will be 150 MCQs in two sections:
General Studies – 75 Qs
D.El.Ed – 75 Qs

Total time given to the candidates for the examination is 2 hours. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded and 0.25 will be deducted for all incorrect answers.
