As per the official notification from NLU, the examination will be held on 19th June 2022. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) will conduct the CLAT examination 2022 at national level. Registrations for the examination is open from 1st January 2022 and will close on 9th May 2022. Almost all prominent colleges in India accept CLAT Score cards to offer admission to the candidates, which include both government and private colleges.

CLAT Result 2022
The Consortium of National Law University (NLUs) will declare the CLAT 2022 result in online mode tentatively a few weeks after the completion of the law admission test. The CLAT result 2022 will be available for download at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/
Result will be released in the form of a scorecard and will carry details such as marks obtained by the candidate in CLAT 2022, all India rank, and category rank. CLAT scores will be used by 22 national law universities for admission to integrated LLB and LLM Programmes. The consortium will also release merit lists for both CLAT UG and CLAT PG along with the result.

Steps to Download CLAT Result 2022
- Firstly, Visit the official web portal of CLAT 2022–https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/.
- Click on CLAT 2022 result link given in the notification section (A direct link will also be provided here)
- Login using login credentials such as mobile number and password
- The CLAT scorecard will be displayed on screen
- Also You can download the CLAT result PDF.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
CLAT 2022 – Score Card
Along with the results, the marks will be available in the form of a scorecard on the official website of the NLUs. It is necessary to keep a printout of the scorecard for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Details mentioned on CLAT 2022 Scorecard
The CLAT scorecard 2022 will contain the following exam information:
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Roll Number
- Application Number
- Category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.)
- CLAT 2022 sectional and overall scores
- All India Rank (AIR)

The CLAT Consortium will not send hard copies of the scorecard to any candidate.

CLAT Result 2022 – Grievance Filing
In case the candidate finds some discrepancies in his/her CLAT result, he/she will have the opportunity to file a grievance. The consortium will provide the grievance filing details once the CLAT result has been declared.
How to file grievances against CLAT results?
Step 1 – Login to CLAT 2022 examination portal
Step 2 – Click on “Submit Grievance” option
Step 3 – Provide the details of grievances
Step 4 – Upload supporting documents and click on submit option
Candidates should note that grievances received against CLAT 2022 in any other format and mode will not be entertained. Further, candidates will have to strictly submit their grievances within the dates prescribed by the examination authority.
CLAT Result 2022 – Tie-breaker Rule
In case, two or more candidates score the same marks in CLAT 2022, the consortium will follow the sequence given below to decide the merit rank:

CLAT Merit List 2022
CLAT Consortium will publish the CLAT merit list for UG and PG courses separately. The CLAT merit list will be prepared based on the total marks scored by candidates in the exam. This means that a student scoring higher marks will be given a higher rank in the merit list.
The merit list will include information like All India Ranks (AIRs), roll numbers, and total marks. All candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list are eligible to participate in CLAT 2022 counseling for seat allotment procedure at the National Law Universities (NLUs).
CLAT Counselling 2022
CLAT rank list will be used for inviting candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process which is the last stage of the admission process. After the declaration of CLAT exam results, candidates have to register themselves on the Consortium’s website and pay the counselling fee and block the seat. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their preference, rank and scores. Moreover, candidates also have to fill in their preference order for NLUs (minimum 5 preferences have to be filled). As per the press release dated November 11, 2021, the Counselling fee has been further reduced. Earlier the Counselling fee wasRs. 50000. The details of the new Counselling fee is given in the table below.

CLAT Cutoff 2022
The CLAT 2021 cutoff would be released at the time of counseling and seat allotment. The cutoff would be released NLU-wise for UG and PG courses separately. The cutoff will be released in the form of closing ranks. Check the CLAT cut-off 2021 below.
