Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the standing order for the recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police service. Delhi Police Constable Eligibility – Age Limit, Qualification

Educational qualification
- The candidate must be a 10, + 2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board.
- Relaxable up to 11th pass only for: bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch drivers, sons of serving, deceased, and retired police personnel including Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
Essential requirement
- Candidate must possess a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (Motor cycle or Car) for the post of Constable (Exe.) Male in Delhi Police as on the date of PE & MT. Learners License is not acceptable.
Age limit
- The minimum age limit for the applicant should be 18 years.
- The maximum age limit is 25 years.

The upper age limit as prescribed above will be relaxable only in the following cases: –

NB: Age concession to Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with the orders issued by the government from time to time.
Standard of Physical Measurement for Constable (Executive) Male – (Qualifying)
- Height: Minimum 170 cm
- Chest: Minimum 81 ems – 85 ems (with minimum of 4 ems expansion).
- Physical Endurance Test (Qualifying) for the post of Constable (Exe.) Male for all candidates including Ex-Servicemen and Departmental Candidates (Age-Wise) will be as the following:

- Physical Measurement: Physical Measurement Test shall be taken only of those who qualify the Physical Endurance Tests.
Standard of Physical Measurement for Constable (Executive) Female – (Qualifying)
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
- Physical Endurance Test (Qualifying) for the post of Constable (Exe.) Female for all candidates including Ex-Servicemen and Departmental Candidates (Age-Wise) will be as the following:

NB: The candidates those who qualify in the race will be eligible to appear for the Long jump and then High Jump. The Long Jump and High Jump are to be cleared in anyone of the three chances that will be given. The candidate cannot raise any appeal against disqualification in race, Long jump & High jump.
Selection Process
Staff Selection Commission is the authority who conducts the Delhi Police Constables 2021 recruitment. The following are the steps of selection process:
- Written Examination (Objective type)
- Physical Measurement Test
- Physical Endurance Test
- Medical Test
- Document Verification
SSC will conduct the written examination as Computer Based Examination mode on all India basis. The written examination will be objective type paper, which contains 100 questions.
- The written exam for the Delhi Police Constable will be conducted for 1 Hour and 30 Minutes.
- All the questions will be objective (100 Questions)
- There will four sections each comprising of different marks.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer.
- The medium of examination will be in English and Hindi.
