Detailed Selection Process for Delhi Police Constable 2023
To begin with, the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment is a five-staged recruitment process conducted by the staff selection commission. However, it is not as complicated as it sounds. Each of the five stages are clearly defined beforehand by the commission so that the aspirants are not confused at all. Let us have a look at each stage in detail.
Stage 1- Written Examination
The recruitment process to the Delhi Police Constable begins with the Preliminary stage. Here, each of the candidates must go through a Computer Based test in order to qualify for the subsequent stages of selection. This CBT written examination will be conducted across various centres in the country. Some of the major features of the Stage 1 Written examination are as follows-
- It is a 100 mark test of one and half hour duration.
- It will be conducted online at different exam centres.
- The questions will be of one mark each.
- Each wrong answer will cost 0.25 marks.
- Most of the questions will be asked from the following topics- General knowledge, numerical ability, reasoning and computer knowledge.
- The question paper will be accessible in both Hindi language and English language.
- The exam type is objective.

Stage 2- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Each of the male candidates and female candidates who qualify the prelims exam must appear for a measurement test. Only if the candidate qualifies this stage then he/she is eligible for the successive stages. The standard for the Physical measurement test is as follows:

Stage 3- Physical Endurance Test

Stage 4- Medical Examination

- Check for tattoos in the body.
Stage 5- Document Verification
In the final stage of the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process, all the documents that were submitted during the application will be verified by an official.
