Delhi Police Constable: Notification Details
The Delhi Police Constable Examination was held from from 27 November to 30 November, 01 December to 03 December, 07 December to 11 December and 14 December 2020. The exam was conducted by SSC.
However, the Physical Measurement left is still not conducted due to the pandemic situation in the country. And it is also mentioned that the schedule will be subjected to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. Educational Qualifications
10+2, i.e., Senior secondary pass from any recognized board. And the professional requirements:
- Speed in English typing on a computer (30 words per minute) or
- Speed in Hindi typing on the computer (25 words per minute)
Physical Measurements:
Minimum of 170 Cms (Male Candidates), and 157 cms for Female Candidates. Candidates from the mentioned communities have relaxations of 5 cms, for Male candidates and 2cms for female counterparts:
- Residents of Hill areas i.e. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas
- Candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Leh and Ladakh.
Age Limit
For the candidates of general category and EWS 18-25 years. The age relaxation that can be availed for the category are as follows:
- SC/ ST- 5 years
- OBC- 3 years
- UR/EWS PWD – 10 years
- OBC PWD- 13 years
- SC/ST PWD- 15 years
Salary
The Group 3 post is Level 4 in the pay matrix. The salary Rs. 25,500-81,100. And will be eligible to avail the usual allowances for the central government employees from time to time.
