What you’ll do

• Build and integrate tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Create, maintain, and improve game call-pattern simulation code in C++/Scala to support applications and features.
• Perform stress and load testing: design tests, create gameplay-driven scenarios, evaluate game logs to model realistic load, and set up distributed test environments to run load tests.
• Execute tests and produce accurate analysis and test reports.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system and network performance and test-automation issues.
• Troubleshoot to isolate test issues versus system component issues.
• Collaborate with peers to track and resolve issues and communicate test status and results to the team.
• Adhere to EA’s policies, NDAs, and security guidelines while promptly reporting issues and handling multiple tasks with agility.

Who should apply (Qualifications)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Scala, or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud systems (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure also relevant).
• Understanding of scalable platform architecture and end-to-end systems design.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (for example, Grafana) and database technologies (for example, MySQL, Redis).
• Passion for problem solving, ability to work independently, organize workload and priorities, and show initiative and technical innovation.
