About HackOn With Amazon 6.0

HackOn With Amazon is a nationwide technology competition that brings together talented students from eligible institutions across India. The event focuses on innovation, coding excellence, collaboration, and customer-centric problem solving.

Participants will work on challenges inspired by real-world scenarios and Amazon-scale technologies, with opportunities to interact with Amazon engineers and leaders throughout the competition.

Students must satisfy the following conditions to participate:

• Graduation Year: 2027 or 2028
• Eligible Degrees:
  • B.Tech
  • M.Tech
  • Integrated Dual Degree
  • MCA
• Eligible Branches:

Team Formation Rules

• Each team must consist of 2 to 3 members
• Teams may include students from:
  • Different institutes
  • Different graduation years
  • Different specializations
• Participants can join only one team
• Every team member must individually meet the eligibility criteria

Competition Structure

Round 1: Coding Challenge

All eligible participants must individually attempt a 100-minute proctored coding challenge that includes:

• Coding problems
• GenAI-based multiple-choice questions
• Each team member must individually attempt and clear the coding challenge.
• The challenge will be proctored to ensure fair participation, and any participant found using unfair means will be disqualified.
• Shortlisted teams will be released on the leaderboard post the assessment.

Only teams whose members successfully clear the assessment will move to the next round.

Round 2: 48-Hour Virtual Hackathon

Day 0 – Kickoff Webinar (12 June 2026)

Amazon leaders will:

• Reveal official problem statements
• Conduct live Q&A sessions
• Guide participants before the hackathon begins

Day 1 & 2 – Build Phase (13–14 June 2026)

Teams will:

• Build and refine their solutions
• Develop working prototypes
• Prepare project documentation and demo videos

Required submissions include:

• Project Document
• Demo Video
• Working Prototype

Day 3 – Final Submission (15 June 2026)

Teams must submit:

• Final project documentation
• Demo video
• Active live project link
• Prototype submission through Unstop

Round 3: Grand Finale

Top-performing teams from the virtual hackathon will qualify for the Grand Finale, where they will receive mentorship from Amazon tech leaders.

Finalists will present their solutions before jury members from various Amazon businesses, including:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Amazon Devices
• Amazon Pay
• Other Amazon technology divisions

The finale will be conducted in person, providing participants a valuable opportunity to interact directly with Amazon professionals and industry experts.
