How to Apply for ISRO Scientist 2025 Recruitment 

Candidates interested in applying for ISRO Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts must submit their applications online through the official ISRO website between May 27, 2025, and June 16, 2025.

• Multiple Posts: Candidates can apply for more than one post, but must select the same exam center for all applications.
• Separate Fees: A separate application fee must be paid for each post.
• Email ID Required: A valid email ID is mandatory for registration. After successful submission, a unique Registration Number will be generated—keep this safe for future use.

Application Fee & Refund Process

• Total Amount to Pay Initially: ₹750 per application (Processing Fee).

• Refund Details:

  • Full ₹750 refunded for Women, SC/ST, PwBD & Ex-servicemen who appear for the written test.

  • ₹500 refunded for other candidates (after deducting the non-refundable ₹250 application fee).

• No Refund: If the candidate does not appear for the written test.

Ensure your bank account details (Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC code) are entered correctly to receive the refund.

Note: Payments via cash, cheque, draft, IPO, etc. are not accepted.

Payment Process:

1. Pay Immediately After Submission:

   • Click the “Make Payment” button after registering.

2. Pay Later:

   • Use the “Make Payment” option on the advertisement page using Registration Number and Date of Birth.

Important Notes:

• Avoid submitting multiple applications for the same post.
• Upload only photo and signature in JPG format during the application process.
• All supporting documents (proof of age, qualification, category, NOC, etc.) must be presented during the interview or as requested—do not upload them during registration.

No Objection Certificate (NOC):

Candidates working in Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview. If the candidate fails to present the NOC, they will not be allowed to attend the interview.

ISRO Scientist 2025 Eligibility Details 

Before applying for the ISRO Scientist/Engineer posts, candidates must ensure they meet the required eligibility conditions related to education, age limit, and PwBD reservations as outlined by ISRO

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in:

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Computer Science Engineering

• A minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) is required.
• Final-year students (2024–25 batch) can apply if their final results are declared by 31.08.2025 and they meet the marks criteria.

Age Limit (as on 16.06.2025):

PwBD Reservation:

• Vacancies are available for candidates with benchmark disabilities across various categories.

Note: Allied disciplines may be accepted based on ISRO guidelines. Where both CGPA and percentage are awarded, either can be used. CGPA-only scores must directly meet eligibility—no conversions accepted.

The selection process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts involves two stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination

• Mode: MCQ-based test conducted across 11 cities
• Duration: 2 hours (extra time for PwBD candidates)
