Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters).

Additional Guidelines
- Graduation must be completed within the stipulated duration as prescribed by the university.
- Final-year students (2024–25) are eligible to apply if their final degree certificate is available by 31.08.2025.
- Conversion of CGPA to percentage is not allowed unless both are officially mentioned by the university.
- For Dual/Integrated Degree holders, graduation-level marks will be considered as per guidelines in the official notification.

ISRO Scientist 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts involves a written test followed by an interview. The final selection will be based on the combined performance in both stages.
1. Written Test
- The written exam will be conducted across 11 centres: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
- ISRO reserves the right to change the exam centres and re-allocate candidates accordingly.
- Admit cards will be sent to candidates’ registered email IDs only.
Exam Pattern:
- Duration: 120 minutes (PwBD candidates will get extra time as per rules)

- Applications will be accepted only online through the official ISRO portal from 27th May to 16th June 2025.
- Candidates may apply for multiple posts but must choose the same exam center for all applications submitted.
- Each post requires a separate application fee and processing fee payment.
- On successful registration, candidates will receive a unique Registration Number—retain this for all future communications.
- Providing a valid email address is compulsory for communication and call letters.
- The application fee is ₹250 per post (non-refundable).
- A processing fee of ₹750 per application is charged upfront, refundable only to those who appear for the written test.

- Government employees must upload or submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer during the interview stage.
- Upload only your recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format; do not upload any other documents online. Originals will be verified later.
- Ensure you provide accurate bank details (Account name, number, IFSC) for smooth refund transactions.
- Candidates are advised to confirm payment status on the ISRO website 24 hours after payment to avoid any issues.
- Late applications or incomplete submissions will be rejected without exception.
ISRO Scientist 2025 Pay Scale and Allowances
Selected candidates for the Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ position will be placed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. Along with the basic pay, employees will receive:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance
These allowances are paid according to current government rules. Employees will also be covered under the New Pension Scheme (NPS)/Unified Pension Scheme. Additional benefits include:
- Medical facilities for self and dependents
- Subsidized canteen services
- Limited housing quarters (as an alternative to HRA)
- Leave Travel Concession (LTC)
- Group Insurance
- House Building Advance

ISRO Scientist 2025: Important Conditions and Instructions
- Appointees can be posted at any ISRO Centre or Unit and may be transferred as per organizational requirements.
- The number of vacancies mentioned is provisional; ISRO may increase or decrease vacancies based on need.
- Positions are temporary but expected to continue for the foreseeable future.
- Interview attendees will be reimbursed second-class or sleeper-class train fare from their declared city to the interview location. No TA is provided for attending the written test.
- Original documents verifying application details must be produced at the time of the interview.
- False or misleading information may lead to disqualification and withholding of TA.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- ISRO reserves the right not to fill all advertised vacancies.
