Guideines on KDRB Assistant Lineman Notification 2025

• Upper Age Limit Relaxation for Temporary/Contract Employees:
  Candidates who have worked in temporary or daily wage positions under Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) and have crossed the upper age limit of 55 years are eligible for age relaxation. If they have completed at least one year of service in such posts, they can apply by claiming this relaxation. Such candidates must provide valid service certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of application.
• Bonus Marks for Experience:
  Applicants with temporary or daily wage service under TDB in the same category post may be awarded 1 mark for each year of service, up to a maximum of 10 marks, provided they have the required qualification and have passed the written test. This bonus is applicable only if the candidates submit valid documents verifying the nature of service, institution, post, tenure, and job duties.
• Court Orders:
  Recruitment will be conducted in accordance with court orders issued in C.A. No. 4670/2023 and other related cases.
• EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Reservation:
  As per G.O.(P) No.79/2019/RD dated 18.11.2019, 10% reservation is applicable for eligible candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in Hindu unreserved communities. Applicants must submit a valid EWS certificate issued by the Village Officer based on the eligibility norms, such as:

  • No regular government employment in the family.

  • No ownership of more than 2.5 acres of land.

  • Monthly family income not exceeding ₹25,000.

  • Family includes parents, spouse, and unmarried children below 18 years of age.

• Ongoing Devaswom Board Recruitment Rules Revision:
  The Kerala Government, through Order No. 3/177/2022, has proposed amendments to the current Devaswom Board recruitment rules to ensure adequate representation of Hindu reserved categories. These rules will be applicable to this recruitment upon approval.
