Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of Kerala.

Age Limit:

• The age must be between 20 and 36 years.
• Candidates should be born between January 2, 1989, and January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government rules for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and other reserved categories.

• Written Test:
  Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination. This test evaluates the candidates’ technical knowledge and relevant skills.
• Document Verification:
  Candidates who qualify in the written test must appear for document verification. They need to produce original certificates for educational qualification, age, caste, and experience as proof.

• Weightage for Temporary/Daily Wage Service:
  Candidates with prior temporary or daily wage service in similar technical posts under the Kerala Public Works Department Recruitment Board will get additional marks. One mark is awarded for each completed year of such service, up to a maximum of 10 marks, subject to verification of service certificates.
• Reservation:
  There is a 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in Hindu unreserved communities, subject to submission of a valid EWS certificate.
• High Court Orders & Amendments:
  The selection process is subject to pending court rulings and any future reservation amendments notified by the Kerala Government.
• Final Merit List:
  Based on written exam scores and service weightage, a final merit list will be prepared. Candidates on this list will be considered for appointment.
