Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer (AE) Mechanical Selection Process 2026

The selection for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) 2026 under Kerala PSC is conducted on a merit-based recruitment process. The process includes the following stages:

1. Written Examination
   Candidates who successfully submit their applications will be called for an objective-type written test conducted by Kerala PSC. The exam evaluates technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering along with general subjects as specified in the syllabus.

2. Shortlisting
   Based on the written test performance, Kerala PSC will prepare a category-wise and reservation-wise shortlist of eligible candidates for the next stage.

3. Document Verification

The selection list prepared by KPSC will remain active for at least one year and up to three years, unless replaced earlier by a new list. • Age Requirement: 21–40 years (born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2004), with standard SC/ST/OBC relaxations.
