The post of Computer Programmer will be filled through Direct Recruitment on a statewide basis. Candidates must apply online through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration system.
Age Limit
Applicants must be aged 18–40 years, meaning only candidates born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC, SC, and ST candidates are eligible for the usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC norms.
- Upper age limit will never exceed 50 years, even with relaxation.
- Certain provisional employees of the 29 Co-operative Institutions (as per G.O.(P) No.41/98 dated 09.03.1998) can claim age relaxation up to 5 years, provided:

They have completed at least one year of provisional service.

Once they secure regular appointment, this concession cannot be used again.

Candidates must possess any one of the following from a recognized university:
- MCA
- B.Tech in Information Technology
- B.Tech in Computer Science

- Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR applies to this selection.
- Equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by Government orders or accepted by Kerala PSC will also be considered valid.
- Candidates must produce relevant Government orders proving equivalency when required.
