Kerala PSC Draftsman / Overseer Gr 2 Mechanical Vacancy 2026
The Kerala PSC has announced 1 (One) vacancy for the post of Draftsman Gr II / Overseer Gr II (Mechanical) [Category No: 549/2025]. The ranked list of selected candidates will remain in force for a minimum of one year and up to a maximum of three years or until a new list is published, whichever is earlier. During this period, candidates from the list will be considered for vacancies that arise. 4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates.

- Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment

- Age Limit: 18–36 years (Candidates born between 02/01/1989 and 01/01/2007). Usual age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Educational Qualification:
- Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Kerala.

- Equivalent / Higher Qualifications: Qualifications recognized by government orders or accepted by the Commission as equivalent to the prescribed qualifications are also eligible.

Kerala PSC Draftsman / Overseer Gr 2 Selection Process 2026
- Selection may include a Written / OMR / Online Test conducted by Kerala PSC.
- Candidates must submit confirmation for the examination through their One Time Registration (OTR) profile.
- Only candidates who submit confirmation can download the Admission Ticket.
- Admission Tickets will be available 15 days prior to the examination date.
- Failure to submit confirmation within the stipulated period will result in rejection of application.
- The confirmation period and admit card dates will be published in the PSC Examination Calendar.
- Information regarding confirmation and exam details will be sent to the candidate’s PSC profile and registered mobile number.
- Qualified candidates will undergo Document Verification.
- An Interview may be conducted if required.
- A Rank List will be prepared based on the selection process.
- Appointments will be made from the rank list as per reported vacancies.
- Probation: Appointed candidates will be on probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.

- Register through One Time Registration (OTR) on the official Kerala PSC website: www.keralapsc.gov.in
- Existing users can log in using their User ID and Password.

- New users must upload a recent photograph taken within the last 6 months, with the candidate’s name and date of photo clearly printed at the bottom.
- Once uploaded correctly, the photograph will remain valid for 10 years.

- After submission, the application is provisional and cannot be edited or deleted.

Kerala PSC Draftsman / Overseer Gr 2 Mechanical Salary 2026
Candidates selected for the post of Kerala PSC Draftsman Gr II / Overseer Gr II (Mechanical) will be placed in the pay scale of ₹31,100 – ₹66,800 as per Kerala Government norms. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be entitled to government allowances and perks such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical benefits, pension benefits, and other service-related allowances applicable from time to time.
