Age Limit:

• General Candidates: 18–36 years (born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007, both dates inclusive).
• OBC/SC/ST Candidates: Eligible for usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC rules.

Provisional Hands

•  Candidates who have worked as provisional hands in the same concern may get age relaxation up to 5 years, provided they are within the prescribed age limit at the time of their first appointment. Regular employees are not eligible for this concession. A certificate proving the provisional service period must be produced on request, clearly stating they were not in regular service.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed ITI in Electrician from a Government-approved institution.

Experience

Minimum one year of experience as an Electrical Helper in a Government, Quasi-Government, or Registered Private Sector Undertaking.

Relaxation for SC/ST:

If there is a shortage of SC/ST candidates, the experience requirement may be relaxed for them, provided they are otherwise suitable.

Additional Notes:

1. Only experience gained after obtaining the required qualification and before the last date of application will be considered.
