1: Between the period of 1858-1947, how many Viceroys ruled over India?
The Kerala PSC has notified anticipated vacancies for the post of Meter Reader in the Kerala Water Authority. This means that the exact number of vacancies is not fixed in the notification and will be determined based on the requirements reported by the department during the validity period of the ranked list.
The ranked list prepared by the Kerala PSC will remain valid for a minimum of one year and up to a maximum of three years. During this period, candidates will be advised for appointment against the reported vacancies. If a new ranked list is published after one year, the existing list will expire, even if the three-year maximum period is not completed.
Additionally, as per government rules, 4% of the total vacancies will be reserved for differently-abled candidates as specified in G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
The Kerala PSC also reserves the authority to cancel the advice for appointment if it is later found that such advice was issued by mistake. In such cases, the appointing authority may terminate the candidate’s service, provided this action is taken within the probation period or 240 days from joining, whichever is earlier.
