Kerala PSC LSGD Draftsman Grade 3 / Overseer Selection Process  is conducted in multiple stages to ensure a fair recruitment process. The main stages include:

1. Written/OMR/Online Test: Candidates must confirm their participation through their One Time Registration (OTR) profile. Only those who submit confirmation can download the Admission Ticket, available 15 days prior to the exam. Applications without confirmation will be rejected. All details regarding the test schedule and ticket availability will be communicated via the candidate’s profile and registered mobile number.
2. Shortlisting: Based on the performance in the written test, a shortlist of eligible candidates is prepared for further stages of selection.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are required to submit original documents and certificates to verify educational qualifications, age, and other eligibility criteria.
4. Interview / Final Selection: Depending on the rules, an interview or final assessment may be conducted. Appointments are made based on rank, district-wise vacancies, and merit as per the published ranked list.

For the Third Grade Draftsman / Third Grade Overseer post, the Kerala Public Service Commission will publish separate ranked lists for each notified district.

Each list will be effective for one year at minimum and may remain valid for up to three years, or until a fresh list is released. Appointments will be made only against vacancies reported during the validity of the list. If no appointment is made within three years, the ranked list may be extended for one additional year or until at least one candidate is advised.

• Recruitment Method: Direct recruitment through Kerala PSC.
• Age Requirement: Candidates should be between 18 and 36 years. Only those born from 2nd January 1989 to 1st January 2007 are eligible. Standard age relaxations apply to SC, ST, and OBC candidates, with a maximum age limit of 50 years including all concessions.
• Educational Requirement: Must have passed SSLC or an equivalent qualification.
