Kerala PSC PWD AE Civil Eligibility Criteria 2025
1: Between the period of 1858-1947, how many Viceroys ruled over India?
1. Method of Appointment

Direct Recruitment as per G.O(P) No. 41/94/PW&T dated 03.06.1994.
2. Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age.
- Only those born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2004 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
- Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Communities (OBC) as per government rules.
3. Educational Qualifications
Any one of the following qualifications is required:
i) Degree Level
- B.Sc./B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from Kerala University, or
- B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering from Madras University, or
- Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Government or Kerala PSC.
ii) Professional Memberships
- Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, India in Civil Engineering, or
- Pass in Sections A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers, India, in Civil Engineering.
Notes on Qualification Equivalence
- As per Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II of KS&SSR, qualifications declared equivalent by Government orders or accepted by the Commission will be considered valid.
- Higher qualifications that presuppose the lower qualification required for the post are also acceptable.
- Candidates may be asked to produce proof of equivalency, such as Government Orders, at the time of verification.

Kerala PSC PWD Assistant Engineer Civil Selection Process 2025
Candidates for the Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) post are selected through a written exam, followed by an interview (if conducted) and document verification. Selected candidates will be on probation for two years within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
