Kerala PSC PWD Draftsman Grade 3 Civil Vacancy 2025

Kerala PSC has announced 2 vacancies for the post of Overseer Grade 3 (Civil) in the Public Works Department (Category No. 222/2025). This is a special recruitment drive for SC/ST candidates. Applicants must submit their forms online via the Kerala PSC Thulasi portal before the last date to be considered for these vacancies.

Kerala PSC PWD Draftsman Grade 3 Civil 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

• Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for SC/ST candidates only). Applications from others will be rejected.
• Age Limit: 18–41 years (Born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007). If no eligible candidates are available, relaxation up to 50 years is allowed.
• Educational Qualification: SSLC pass plus any one of the following –

• • KGTE Lower Grade Drawing Group Certificate or equivalent

  • Draftsman (Civil) 18-month T.T. Scheme/ITC Certificate

  • KGTE Building Drawing & Estimating (Higher/Lower) + 2 Civil Engineering subjects

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (Women’s Polytechnic, 2 years)

  • Diploma in Agricultural & Rural Engineering (Thavanur)

  • VHSE in Draftsmanship & Quantity Surveying / VHSE in Building Technology

UGC-approved Degrees/Diplomas and Government-recognized equivalent qualifications are also valid.

Kerala PSC PWD Draftsman Grade 3 Civil Selection Process 2025

Candidates who apply successfully through the PSC Thulasi portal will be shortlisted for a written test carrying 100 marks, conducted in English with negative marking for wrong answers. Those who qualify will be called for document verification, and if required, a personal interview.

Based on performance, Kerala PSC will publish a final ranked list, valid for 1–3 years, from which appointments will be made for the 2 reported vacancies and any additional ones. Selected candidates will serve a probation period of two years within a continuous period of three years.

1. One-Time Registration (OTR):

   • Candidates must first complete One Time Registration on the official Kerala PSC website: www.keralapsc.gov.in.

   • If already registered, log in using your User ID and Password.

2. Application Submission:

   • After logging in, click on the “Apply Now” button against the respective post in the Notification link.

   • Ensure that your name and date of the photograph are printed clearly at the bottom of the uploaded photograph.

   • New users must upload a recent photograph taken within the last 6 months. This photo will remain valid for 10 years.

3. Important Instructions:

   • Do not create multiple profiles; it will lead to cancellation of candidature.

   • No application fee is required.

   • Verify all details in your profile before final submission as applications cannot be edited or deleted after submission.

   • Keep your User ID safe as it will be required for all communications.

4. Application Confirmation & Printout:

   • Submitted applications are provisionally accepted.

   • Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the application for future use.

   • Printouts can be taken from the “My Applications” tab in the profile.

5. ID Proof:

   • Candidates with an Aadhaar card should add it as ID proof in their profile.

6. Submission Deadline:

7. After Application (For Exam):
