As per the latest notification released through the official portal of the Kerala Public Service Commission, online applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates to fill the Scientific Assistant vacancy in the Medical Education Service Department of Kerala Government. Eligibility Criteria for Kerala PSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2021
Each candidate who wants to apply for the post of Scientific Assistant in the Kerala Medical Services Department must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the commission. Educational Qualification
Every candidate who applies for the post of Scientific Assistant must fulfill the general educational qualification as well as the special qualifications.
General Qualification– The candidate must have passed Plus Two or Pre-degree with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the major subjects or any other Equivalent Qualification.
Special Qualification– The candidate must possess any one out of the three special qualifications mentioned below:
MPT in any discipline from UGC recognized Universities. These can also be from Central Universities or National Institutes or Institutions recognized by Government of India or any of the State Governments.
Or
BPT from UGC recognized Universities or Central Universities or National Institutes or Institutions recognized by Government of India or any of the State Governments. Along with this, a 2 year post degree experience in any of the Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by Government of India or any of the State Governments is also necessary.
Or
A pass in the pre-university or equivalent qualification along with the training given to Physiotherapy Assistant Class II in any of the Armed Forces.
Age Limit
All of the candidates who apply for the post must be between 18 to 36 years of age ,i.e, the candidate must be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates inclusive). However, age relaxation as per the Government norms is applicable to all the reserved categories.

Selection Process for Kerala PSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2021
The selection of candidates to the post of Scientific assistant is done by direct recruitment only. However, if there is an online or OMR written test conducted for this appointment, all of the candidates must submit an online confirmation form though the official web portal.
How to Apply for Kerala PSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2021 ?
