Kerala PSC Technician Gr 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025

The Kerala Public Service Commission has announced new openings under Category Numbers 101/2025 and 1012/2025. Find out the eligibility details here.

1. Method of Appointment:

• Direct Recruitment

Category Number 101/2025

1. Age Limit:

• 18 to 40 years (Born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2007, both dates inclusive)

Relaxation:

• SC/ST and OBC candidates eligible for usual age relaxation (subject to max. 50 years)
• Provisional employees of 29 Co-operative Institutions (as per G.O. (P) No. 41/98 dated 09.03.1998) get up to 5 years relaxation if they have minimum 1 year provisional service through Employment Exchange.
• Must provide a certificate from the concerned authority when required.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent
• ITI/NAC/NTC in the relevant trade

Note:

• Equivalent or higher qualifications accepted if recognized by Government orders or Commission.
• Must provide proof of equivalency when requested.

 Category Number: 102/2025

• Age: 18 to 50 years (born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/2007).
• Education: Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
• Technical Qualification: ITI/NAC/NTC in the relevant trade or equivalent/higher recognized qualification.
• Service: Minimum 3 years of regular service in a member society affiliated to Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation as of application date.
• Employment Status: Must be in service on the date of appointment (except KPSC-recruited employees in reserved posts).
• Service Certificate: Mandatory upload of certificate from Assistant Registrar (General) confirming eligibility and service details.
• Other: Rule 10(a)(ii) KS&SSR applies; equivalent qualifications must be supported by government orders.

Kerala PSC Technician Gr 2 Vacancy 2025

• Notification 101/2025: There is 1 vacancy under the General Category. Future vacancies will be equally split between General and Society Categories (1:1 ratio). Reservation rules under KS&SSR 1958 apply to both lists. The Ranked List remains valid for 1 to 3 years, with possible extension if no appointments are made. Selection is statewide.

• Notification 102/2025: This covers anticipated vacancies. The Ranked List validity and reservation rules remain the same as above. Selection follows a continuous statewide rotation

1. One-Time Registration (OTR):
   Before applying for the post, candidates must complete the One-Time Registration on the official Kerala Public Service Commission website www.keralapsc.gov.in. If you have already registered, simply log in to your profile using your User ID and password.

2. Avoid Multiple Registrations:
   Applicants must not create more than one profile. Multiple registrations are strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of your candidature.

3. Applying for the Post:
   After logging in, go to the “Notification” section and find the link for the Technician Grade II (Electrician) posts (Category No: 101/2025 & 102/2025). Click the “Apply Now” button corresponding to the post to start your application.

4. Photograph Guidelines:

   • The photograph you upload should be recent—taken within the last 6 months if you are creating a new profile.

11. Document Verification:
    Original documents proving your qualifications, age, community status, etc., will need to be produced when called for verification.

12. Examination Confirmation:
    If the recruitment process includes a Written/OMR/Online Test, candidates must confirm their intent to attend the exam via their profile in the One-Time Registration system.

    • Only those who submit this confirmation can generate and download their Admission Tickets in the final 15 days before the exam.

    • Failure to confirm within the given timeframe will result in rejection of the application.

    • Dates for confirmation submission and admission ticket availability will be updated in the Examination Calendar and communicated through candidate profiles and registered mobile numbers.

13. AADHAAR Card:
    Candidates possessing an Aadhaar card should add it as their ID proof in their profile.

14. Important Notes:
    Certain general recruitment conditions specified in KPSC rules (Paras 2 and 5 of General Conditions) are not applicable for this post.

15. Application Submission Deadline:
    Applications must be submitted online through www.keralapsc.gov.in before midnight on 16th July 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Kerala PSC Technician Grade II (Electrician) Salary 2025

Selected candidates for the Technician Grade II (Electrician) post will receive a monthly salary in the pay scale of ₹29,490 to ₹85,160. In addition to the basic pay, they are also eligible for standard government allowances, benefits, and perks as per rules.
