The selection will be made through a written examination. Qualified applicants will be selected for the post.
There will be two papers for the Kerala SET examination. The questions in both papers will be objective and based on a single response, i.e., for each question, four suggested responses (A, B, C, D) will be provided, only one of which will be the most appropriate answer, and candidates will have to select and mark their response in the appropriate space provided in the OMR Answer Sheets. Participants will receive 1 mark for each accurate response in both papers, except for Mathematics and Statistics, which will receive 1.5 marks for each correct response. It is considered an improper answer if you mark more than one response to a question. For wrong replies, no marks will be lost.
- The first paper is the same for all applicants. It is divided into two sections: Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Teaching Aptitude. Paper 1 will include 120 questions, including 60 questions in each of Part A and Part B. There will be one mark for each question. Each paper will have a time limit of 120 minutes for the test.
