Kerala SET 2024 Age Limit
There is no particular age limit prescribed for candidates appearing for the Kerala SET Written Examination as per the details available on the official website of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Thus, any aspirant who completes all the other Kerala SET Eligibility conditions can apply for the SET exam without worrying about the age limit.
Kerala SET 2024 Education Qualification
Those who have received a Master’s Degree in the subjects regarded with not less than 50% marks or equal grade and B.Ed

Kerala SET Selection Process 2024
The selection will be made through a written examination. Qualified applicants will be selected for the post.
There will be two papers for the Kerala SET examination. The questions in both papers will be objective and based on a single response, i.e., for each question, four suggested responses (A, B, C, D) will be provided, only one of which will be the most appropriate answer, and candidates will have to select and mark their response in the appropriate space provided in the OMR Answer Sheets. Participants will receive 1 mark for each accurate response in both papers, except for Mathematics and Statistics, which will receive 1.5 marks for each correct response. It is considered an improper answer if you mark more than one response to a question. For wrong replies, no marks will be lost.
- The first paper is the same for all applicants. It is divided into two sections: Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Teaching Aptitude. Paper 1 will include 120 questions, including 60 questions in each of Part A and Part B. There will be one mark for each question. Each paper will have a time limit of 120 minutes for the test.
- Paper-II will be an examination based on the candidate’s area of specialization at the postgraduate (PG) level. As indicated, there will be 31 subjects for Paper-II of the SET-JANUARY-2022. Candidates with qualifications in disciplines other than those listed in table 1 must-have Equivalency and Eligibility Certificates issued by any of Kerala’s institutions. Except for Mathematics and Statistics, all topics in Paper-II will have 120 questions for one mark each. There will be just 80 questions in Mathematics and Statistics, each worth 1.5 points.
Kerala SET Application Form 2024
Kerala SET application form 2024 has been released by LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Candidates who have completed the Kerala SET eligibility criteria can apply online. The Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET) application fee is INR 1000 and 500 for the General/OBC category and SC/ST/PH category respectively. Candidates must submit the application form to appear for the Kerala SET 2024 exam and obtain the eligibility certificate.
How To Apply for Kerala SET Examination 2024?
Candidates who are appearing for the Kerala SET examination need to follow certain steps online to make the application. The given below are the details of the steps that the candidates need to follow so as to make the Kerala SET examination application 2024.
- First, the candidate has to visit the official website of Kerala SET i.e,  www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
- Then go to the ‘Online Services tab and select ‘SET and other exams’.
- Select the ‘SET-January-2024’option.
- Next, give your right mobile phone number to start with the process. Shortly after registration, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number.
- Fill in the personal and academic details requested in the online form and then submit.
- A registered will be shown on the screen after submitting the form successfully. Save this ID safe for further references.
- Select the JPEGformat photograph with a height of 200 pixels and width of 150 pixels. The maximum file size should be 30 KB and not exceeds.
- Finish the payment of the application fee through online mode. You will have the choice of Credit/debit card/Net banking or other modes. There will be no provision like a refund of the application fee once paid.
- After filling out the application form candidates should take the print-out of the application form and address slip for further use. This address slip must be mentioned on the envelope by the candidate for sending the application. The application form should be sent by the candidate and must be signed by the candidate after printing.
- There will be no facilities like editing once the application is submitted. Thus, confirm their information before submission. In case of disparities, contact the helpline numbers available on the websites within three days from the last reported date.

Kerala SET Salary Structure 2024
The aspirants who have completed and passed the Kerala Teachers Eligibility test can apply for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers and Vocational Teachers. The notification for the posts of Higher Secondary School Teachers and Vocational Teachers will be announced by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala Govt.)on its official website. - Both papers have a weightage of 120 Marks.
- There is no negative marking in Kerala SET Written Examination.
- Specialized subjects can be any single subject from the list of 31Â subjects.
- Paper 2 shall be based on the specialization of the candidates at the PG (Post Graduate) Level.
- For subjects like Mathematics and Statistics, there shall be an exception in Paper 2. Mathematics and Statistics will include only 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each.
- All other subjects will follow the same pattern as mentioned above in the table.
