KSEB Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Method of Appointment

• The post is filled through Recruitment by Transfer under the 10% In-service quota.
• Eligible candidates must be permanent employees of Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd (KSEB).
• Applicants should have declared probation or be an approved probationer in KSEB as of the date of application.

2. Age Limit

• No upper age limit is applicable for this post.

3. Service Certificate

Candidates must produce a Service Certificate issued by KSEB when called for verification. The certificate should include:

1. Name of the candidate.
2. Current post held with scale of pay.
3. Department or institution currently working in.
4. Name of the service the applicant belongs to.
5. Date of commencement of service and date of commencement of probation.
6. Whether the applicant is an approved probationer or a full member of the service.
7. Whether the applicant belongs to SC/ST/OBC, and the religion and community as per service records.
8. Service particulars including experience and tenure.

4. Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE.
• Equivalent or higher qualifications are also acceptable.

• • As per Rule 2(13) of Part I and Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR, qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of the Government as equivalent to the specified qualification will also be considered valid.

  • Candidates must produce proof of equivalence through Government orders if requested by the Commission.
