1. Method of Appointment:

• Direct Recruitment

2. Age Limit:

• 18–36 years: Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible.

Age Relaxation:

• Candidates from Other Backward Communities (OBC) and SC/ST are eligible for the usual age relaxation.
• Provisional hands working in the Kerala Water Authority will get age relaxation up to 5 years from the upper age limit, based on their provisional service, provided they were within the prescribed age on their first appointment.
• Regular employees are not eligible for this concession.
• Provisional hands must provide a certificate confirming the period of provisional service and that they were not in regular service.

3. Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• SSLC or equivalent.
• National Trade Certificate in Electrician or Wireman (awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training) after passing SSLC.
