The National Testing Agency or NTA Extends Application Deadline for UGC NET, JNUEE, and Other Exams till June 15, 2020. The Application fees for the same can be submitted up to 11.50 pm on 15 June 2020.
In view of the requests from applicants and hardships faced by them due to the coronavirus pandemic the dates for exams like JNU Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2020, IGNOU Ph.D. and Open MAT (MBA) 2020, ICAR 2020, UGC NET 2020 and CSIR UGC NET 2020 have been extended until further notice.
The application deadline for these exams was 31 May earlier. The final dates for the respective examination will be displayed on the website shortly.
The National Testing Agency conducts the Indian Council of Agricultural Research or ICAR entrance examination for admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in Agricultural Universities.
Those who want to qualify for junior research fellowship or work as an assistant professor have to take the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test or UGC NET. On the other hand, for selecting assistant professors and junior research fellows in subjects related to Science stream the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC NET is conducted.
The JNUEE or Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam is conducted for admission into postgraduate and MPhil programs in Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
The National Testing Agency has over the last month cautioned aspirants about fake information being circulated on social media regarding various exams conducted by it.
NTA has requested applicants to rely only on the official website for any information related to exams conducted by it. Last month, the NTA alerted NEET (UG), 2020 applicants, after it was brought to its notice that some people are asking for application details from them on calls, SMS, and emails.
