RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed requirements relating to nationality, educational qualification, age and medical standards.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess one of the prescribed qualifications, such as:
- Class 10th pass
- ITI
- Equivalent qualification
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT
Candidates whose results for the prescribed qualification are still awaited by the relevant cutoff date are not eligible.

Nationality
A candidate must be either:
a. a citizen of India, or
b. a citizen of Nepal, or
c. a subject of Bhutan, or
d. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
e. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
f. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
RRB Group D Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process consists of:
Computer-Based Test → Physical Efficiency Test → Document Verification → Medical Examination
