TNPSC Group 4 Hall Ticket 2026 Date

TNPSC has not yet announced the hall ticket release date for the Group 4 exam, which is scheduled for 10 January 2027. The hall ticket will be available for download on the official website, tnpsc.gov.in, through your login. TNPSC usually releases hall tickets about one to two weeks before the exam, so candidates can expect it in late December 2026 or early January 2027. This is an expectation based on earlier exams, not an official date. Only candidates whose applications were accepted will get a hall ticket. Check the website regularly and keep your application number and login details ready.

2. Log in to your account with your registration details.

On exam day, carry:

Do not

Guidelines Before the Exam

• Check the centre address a day before and plan your travel.
• Reach the centre early, ideally an hour before the reporting time.
• Remember that gates usually close before the exam begins, and latecomers are not allowed in.

Preparation

• Take a full-length mock test in exam conditions in the last week.
• Revise only your notes and weak topics. Don’t start new topics now.
• Sleep well the night before and eat a light meal on exam day.

Guidelines During the Exam

In the hall

• Sit at the seat given to you, and don’t change it.
• Read all the instructions on the question booklet and OMR sheet carefully.
• Fill in your personal details (register number, question booklet series and so on) correctly on the OMR sheet.

Answering

• Use only the pen allowed. Don’t use pencil unless the instructions say so.
• Shade the bubble fully and neatly. Don’t tick or cross.
• Don’t change an answer after shading, because overwriting or whitener may invalidate it.
• Attempt the Tamil eligibility part carefully, as it is qualifying.
• Check whether there is negative marking, and avoid wild guesses if there is.
• Manage your time. Don’t spend too long on any one question.

Guidelines After the Exam

• Hand over the OMR sheet to the invigilator before you leave. Don’t take it out of the hall.
• Check whether you are allowed to keep the question booklet or a copy of your answers. [VERIFY]
• Note down your answers after the exam, so you can compare them with the answer key.
• Watch tnpsc.gov.in for the tentative answer key and the objection window. Raise objections only through the official method.
• Don’t believe rumours about results or cut-offs. Follow only official announcements.
• Keep your documents ready for certificate verification: educational certificates, community certificate, ID proof and photographs.
