The examination pattern for the UPPSC preliminary and main examination will consist of various papers and the candidates will have to qualify for both of the papers in order to go to the third stage of the selection procedure that is the interview round. UPPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2021

The preliminary examination will consist of two papers. Paper number one will be for General studies 1 and Paper number 2 will be for General studies 2. Paper 1 will consist of 150 questions and Paper 2 will consist of 100 questions. The total number of marks for each paper will be 200 and the duration for each paper will be 2 hours. The candidates will have to successfully pass the preliminary examination to give the main examination.

UPPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2021

After successfully passing the preliminary examination, the candidates will be giving the main examination. The main examination will consist of 4 papers and one essay. The subject for the four papers will be General studies and all of them will consist of 200 marks each. The duration for each paper will be three hours.
