UPSC CAPF Examination will be conducted for recruiting to the post of Assistant Commandants in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) such as Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

• Physical Test: Candidates will be able to give a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Medical Test: The one who qualifies for the PET will go for the Medical Standards Test.
• Personality Test: Candidates who qualify for the Medical Standards Test will be called for the final round of Interviews or Personality tests.

UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern

The UPSC CAPF 2024 exam will have two papers.

• Paper I shall consists of General Ability and Intelligence questions
• The paper I comprises of 250 marks.
• Paper II comprises of General Studies, Essay and Comprehension and consists of 200 marks.
• The written examination will be in both English and Hindi language.
