The Haryana State Co-operative Apex Bank along with the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts clerk recruitment across India. For the selection process, IBPS will conduct two-stage objective computer-based tests, which will be very much similar to that of the IBPS Clerk test. Based on candidates performance in the Stage-II test, and their scores in the socio-economic section the bank makes the final merit list. On selection, one will be appointed in any of the 18 district co-operative banks or in the HARCO bank itself on the pay scale of Rs.35400-112400 on Level-6. HARCO Clerk Selection Process 2021
The Haryana Co-operative Bank conducts the Clerk recruitment to find suitable graduates to the HARCO bank as well as to other 18 district co-operative banks in Haryana. Candidates below 42 years (and above 18 years) with Graduation with 55% marks in any stream or Commerce with 50% marks from any UGC recognized University can appear for the HARCO Bank recruitment process. Candidates should also possess at least matriculation standard proficiency in Sanskrit/ Hindi language.

The candidate recruited for the post of Clerk shall have to qualify for State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) conducted by HARTRON or any other authorized agency approved by the Haryana Government within a probation period of two years extendable by one year failing which the services shall be dispensed with. The new appointee won’t get any increment in the pay scale till she/he successfully pass the test. The State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) shall be a post requisite
condition, and if the candidate is possessing any of the following qualifications, they will get exemption from taking the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC):
- M.Tech./ B.Tech (Computers), MCA, BCA or Diploma in Computers from any recognized Institutions
- Basic Computer Literacy Certificate from any recognized centre established under the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (DOEACC Society)
- Haryana State Certificate in Information Technology (HS-CIT) from the authorized learning centres (ALCs) of HKCL
Since the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications test is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of issue of such certificate by Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited ( HARTRON) or any other authorized agency as approved by the Government. Any Candidates who have already passed the SETC and the same is valid at the time of joining the service is also exempted.

HARCO Bank Clerk Exam Pattern 2021
The HARCO bank’s clerk recruitment exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). So the exam pattern and syllabus will be similar to that of the IBPS Clerk. The HARCO Bank’s clerk selection process will have two stages of Computer-Based Tests.

The HARCO bank creates a final selection list based on marks obtained in the main online test and Socio-Economic Criteria. In all cases, an applicant shall not be given more than 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and
experience. On the final selection list, candidates can get a maximum of 10 marks in the Socio-Economic criteria and experience category. If the applicant is belonging to any of the following sections, they are entitled to 05 marks:
- If neither the candidate nor any person from among the aspirant’s family viz. mother, father, spouse, brother’s, and son is, was or has been a regular employee in any of the Department/ Board/Corporation/ company/ Statutory Body/ Commission/ Authority in Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Union government
- If the candidate belongs to Vamukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class
- If the candidate is:
- a widow, or
- the first or the second child and his father has died before attaining the age of 42 years, or
- the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years
