Candidates will be appointed only after the successful completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) course. Canara Bank PGDBF is a one-year training course and candidates can undergo training either at Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru campus, or NITTE Education International Pvt Ltd. Greater Noida campus.
The selection process includes a PGDBF course including 9 months theory and 3 months training in any of the Canara Bank branches across India. The candidates are screened through the online objective test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Only the selected candidates can attend the PGDBF course. The online test will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) whereas the other selection processes (GD & PI, PGDBF course) are conducted by Canara Bank. Canara Bank PO Eligibility Criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria are the minimum criteria required by the candidate to apply for the PO posts like Nationality, Age Limit, Educational Qualification. Candidates having the required eligibility can only apply for the Canara Bank PO. Check the eligibility criteria for Probationary Officer:

The selected candidates will be entitled to a pay scale of Rs 23700 – 980/7 – 30560 – 1145/2 – 32850 – 1310/7 – 42020/-. Canara Bank PO Exam Pattern 2021
The Canara Bank PO recruitment will be done through Two Phases.
- The first phase will be an online objective test and the second stage will be a group discussion and interview.
- The online objective test will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS), Mumbai. The test comprises four subjects, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness. The question paper will have a total of 200 questions. The test carries a total of 200 marks. There will be negative marks for wrong answers.
- The candidates who qualify equally to or above the section-wise and overall cut-off score in the first stage will only be eligible to appear for the second phase which will be the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
