SEBI has finally released SEBI Grade A 2020 notification on its official Website. SEBI Grade ‘A’ is one of the most important Examinations, that gives you a chance to serve in the government sector. A candidate who is appointed as SEBI Grade A Officer is entrusted with the responsibilities of protecting the interests of investors in securities, regulating the Securities market and working towards its growth.
SEBI was first established in 1988 as a non-statutory body with the aim of regulating the Securities market. It was given statutory powers by government of india with SEBI Act 1992. Since then, SEBI is reffered to, as an autonomous body. Every year Year SEBI releases its vacancies to recruit eligible candidates for its various posts.
The notification is for the post of SEBI Grade A Officer ( Assistant Manager). There are a total of 147 vacancies announced (including backlogs) and the exam pattern is completely changed.

Eligible & Interested candidates can apply online from 7th March 2020. The last date of submission online Application form is 23rd March 2020. Department will be conducting the Phase 1 Online exam on the 12th April 2020 and Phase 2 Online exam on 3rd May 2020. Candidates need to submit an online application form before the last date. Educational Qualification & Vacancy details
A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on February 29, 2020 (Candidates must have been born on or after March 01, 2020).
- Maximum Age – 30 years
- Age Relaxation
- SC / ST – 15 Years
- OBC – 13 Years
There shall be negative marking (1/4 of marks assignd to the question) for paper 1 and paper 2 in Phase 1.
There shall be a cut off minimum 30% for Paper 1 (No sectional Cut off shall be there) and a cut off of minimum 40% for Paper 2 in Phase 1.
