SEBI has released notification for the recruitment of officer grade A officer posts. SEBI Grade ‘A’ is one of the most important Examinations, that gives you a chance to serve in the government sector. A candidate who is appointed as SEBI Grade A Officer is entrusted with the responsibilities of protecting the interests of investors in securities, regulating the Securities market and working towards its growth.

SEBI was first established in 1988 as a non-statutory body with the aim of regulating the Securities market. It was given statutory powers by government of India with SEBI Act 1992. Since then, SEBI is reffered to, as an autonomous body. Every year Year SEBI releases its vacancies to recruit eligible candidates for its various posts.

The notification is for the post of SEBI Grade A Officer ( Assistant Manager). There are a total of 120 vacancies. The candidates can apply for the general, information technology, legal, and official language steams.

SEBI Grade A Officer Last Date of Apply Online will be February 20, 2022

The last date of submitting online Application form for SEBI Grade A Officer is January 24, 2022. The phase I exam will be held on the 20th of February 2022 via online, while the the phase II on the 20/03/2022 and 03/04/2022. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Vacancy details

Age Limit
A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on December 31, 2021 (Candidates must have been born on or after January 01, 1992).

• Maximum Age – 30 years
• Age Relaxation
  • SC / ST – 15 Years
  • OBC – 13 Years

There shall be negative marking (1/4 of marks assigned to the question) for paper 1 and paper 2 in Phase 1.
There shall be a cut off minimum 30% for Paper 1 (No sectional Cut off shall be there) and a cut off of minimum 40% for Paper 2 in Phase 1.
