CSEB Notification 2026 Eligibility Criteria – Qualification & Age

The CSEB Kerala recruitment eligibility varies according to the post.

CSEB 2026 Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation on upper age limit
  • OBC / Other Backward Communities / Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 3 years

CSEB 2026 Educational Qualification – Post-wise

Junior Clerk / Cashier (All Categories – Notifications 17, 18, 19)

As per Rule 186(1)(ii) of the Cooperative Regulations:

• Minimum: SSLC (10th pass) or equivalent + Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC) / National Diploma in Co-operation from the Sub-Board (Personal Co-operative Training Course)
• Also eligible:
  • B.Com with Co-operation as integrated subject from any recognized university
  • Any Degree from a recognized university
  • Cooperative Higher Diploma (HDC / HDC & BM from Kerala State Cooperative Union, or one-year regular HDC/HDCM course from National Council for Co-operative Training)
  • B.Sc. (Co-operation & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University
• For Kasaragod district candidates: GDC/DCM from Karnataka State Cooperative Federation or JDC from Kerala State Cooperative Union also accepted as basic qualification.

Secretary (Notification 15/2026)

One of the following qualifications is required:

• Degree + HDC & BM + 7 years’ experience as Accountant or above in a Cooperative Bank
• B.Sc. (Co-operation & Banking) from Agricultural University + 5 years’ experience as Accountant or above
• MBA / M.Com (Finance) / CA Membership + 3 years’ experience in Banking Sector + Cooperative qualifications
• B.Com (Co-operation) + 7 years’ experience as Accountant or above in a Cooperative Bank (as per G.O.(Rt) No. 220/2022/Co-Op dated 29/03/2022)

Assistant Secretary / Chief Accountant (Notification 16/2026)

As per Rule 186(1)(ia):

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks + Cooperative Higher Diploma (HDC / HDC & BM from Kerala State Cooperative Union, or one-year regular HDC/HDCM from NCCT, or successful completion of Personal Cooperative Training Course / JDC from Sub-Board, or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Co-operation & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University, or B.Com with Co-operation as integrated subject with 50% aggregate.

System Administrator (Notification 20/2026)

• Qualification: MCA / B.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or Information Technology
• Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience as System Administrator or in an equivalent post in any recognized institution (desirable)

Data Entry Operator (Notification 21/2026)

• Any degree from a recognized university
• Certificate in Data Entry Course from a Kerala / Central Government recognized institution
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as Data Entry Operator in a recognized institution
