RBI Office Attendant Selection Procedure 2022
1: What does the acronym "ATM" stand for in banking?
RBI Office attendant examination is one of the most anticipated baking examinations in the year 2022. Candidates from various parts of the state take part in the examination every year. Candidates who are preparing for the examination must be familiar with RBI office attendant selection for making the exam preparation more strategic. The selection of candidates to the post of Office Attendants will be based on the following steps:
- Online Examination
- Language Proficiency Test
Online Examination
The online examination will be conducted by the commission and will consist of 120 objective-type questions. Each right answer will be given 1 mark. However, ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer also. Moreover, the examination will be as per the following pattern set by the RBI:

All the candidates will have to pass the online examination with minimum prescribed marks in each subject of the Online Test. Moreover, Online tests except for the test of General English will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
LPT will be of Qualifying Nature. All the candidates provisionally selected from the Online Examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). However, LPT will be conducted in the Official/ Local Language of the State concerned. It is to be noted that any candidate who does not qualify for the LPT will not be eligible for the post.

RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2022
Computer-based Examination Pattern
- As per the RBI Office Attendant Notification 2022, there will be a total of 120 questions from 4 sections; Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Numerical/ Analytical/ Logical Ability, and English Language.
- One mark for each correct answer
- There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer

RBI Attendant Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Those candidates who qualify for the computer-based test are going to appear for the language proficiency test (LPT) exam. Check the important points of LPT below:
- The candidates provisionally selected from the online test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT).
- LPT is of qualifying nature.
- LPT will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State.
- Candidates not qualifying LPT shall not be considered for selection.
