ESIC Stenographer Exam Main Topics to Cover 2022
The ESIC Stenographer selection is a two-round process. The foremost and the Central round is the way to the final merit list. The performance in this round is believed for preparing the final merit list. The Computer Skill Test (CST) is the second-round examination and the Stenography Test.
First Round Exam
The implementation and marks will be evaluated in the final merit list. This examination consists of objective-type questions and the question paper is split into three sections. There will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark for each incorrect answer.

Stenography Test
This test is a typing test. The aspirants will have to type either in both English or Hindi. Stenography Test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on the computer for one hour.

1. English Language
English is the trickiest and most scoring section. The candidate needs to make reading a habit, learn the basics of Grammar, enhance the vocabulary, and practice various sentence structures to pass the English Language. The aspirants must be prepared for tough questions and practice a lot to get a good score.
2. Reasoning Ability
Questions on Reasoning Ability needs more practice and concentration. The candidates should try to solve as many puzzles as can every day. As solving the puzzle, check the speed and accuracy and try to improve them.
3. General Awareness
To get a better score in this general awareness, the candidates must read the newspapers and magazines. They are more relevant in qualifying the tests. Past, present, and future-based questions have been included in the exam.
