NICL AO Exam Pattern 2023
The exams for the AO recruitment are conducted online. There are two stages for the online exam: preliminary and main.
Prelims
Prelims is the first stage of the AO selection process. It will be an online objective-type exam with a total number of 100 questions. The syllabus topics of the AO prelims exam are English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. The candidates will get 60 minutes to complete the exam. The qualified candidates will be called for the next level of the exam, i.e., the mains.
Mains
The main exam has two subdivisions – the objective and the descriptive test. The exam is conducted in online mode. The exam topics for the AO mains are Reasoning, English Language, General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude. All the questions from this section will be of objective type. Then there will be the descriptive type of questions from the English Language. The candidates will get 2 ½ hours to complete the mains. The candidates who qualify the mains are then called for the final stage of the selection process, the interview.
