Exam Pattern for Mains
There will be a 10 minutes dictation test in either English or Hindi as chosen by the applicant in their online application form. The qualifying speed will be 80 words per minute. The computer skill test is done by making the candidates transcribe the same document into a computer. Candidates with disability are exempted from this skill test. They are allowed to attend an objective exam of 50 questions and no negative marking to test their technical knowledge in computer science. The qualifying criteria are purely at the discretion of ESIC authorities.
