Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has issued a detailed notification regarding the invitation of applications for the recruitment to the post of Finance Officer, GDMO, Hindi Officer, Sr. Scientific Officer, Coach, Junior Superintendent, Junior Technical Superintendent, Pharmacist, Junior Lab Assistant, Junior, Assistant, Driver and various other posts under Group A, B and C Category. Indian Institute of Technology has invited online applications from those candidates who are eligible and interested in the recruitment of various posts coming under the Group A, Group B and Group C positions based on Direct Recruitment.
The candidates are advised to visit the official website to ensure the details for the following posts. Also, the candidates are supposed to read the notification before applying for the posts. Candidates should make sure that they can fulfil the minimum prescribed criteria. Candidates are advised to apply online for the above-mentioned posts on or before 11th May 2021. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has issued the proposed age limit for the posts of Finance Officer, GDMO, Hindi Officer, Sr. Scientific Officer, Junior Technical Superintendent, Pharmacist, Junior Lab Assistant, Junior, Coach, Junior Superintendent, Assistant, Driver. The proposed age limit for the Finance Officer is mainly 55 years; for the Senior Scientific Officer its is 50 years; GDMO/ Hindi Officer/ Assistant Sports Officer it is 35 years; for Group B posts the age limit ranges between 18- 32 years whereas for the Group C Posts it is from 18- 27 years range.

IITR Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has proposed the selection process for the recruitment for the posts of Finance Officer, GDMO, Hindi Officer, Sr. Scientific Officer, Coach, Junior Superintendent, Junior Technical Superintendent, Pharmacist, Junior Lab Assistant, Junior, Assistant, Driver. The Tier one selection process will be based on the objective type is written examination and the Tier two will be a job oriented written test combined with a typing test. Those are passing the first two Tiers will be appointed after the interview. The further procedures will be directly informed to the candidates who are being selected for the posts.

IIT has issued the application fees for those interested who wish to apply for the proposed posts. The application charge for the General category is Rs. 250 for each post. There are no fees for the SC/ST/PWD candidates. The fees could be remitted through the online payment gateway.
