Indian Bank Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2022

The higher officials of the Indian Bank are conducting Security Guard Exam for all the applied aspirants. So, aspirants who have applied for the Security Guard Post must start their preparation. Indian Bank Security Guard Exam questions will be asked from Simple Arithmetic, General Knowledge,  Reasoning Topics. The Total number of questions is 60 with a time duration of 90 Mins.

Indian Bank Security Guard Exam Pattern 2022

Indian Bank Security Guard Exam Pattern 2022 will provide you all the details and assist you during the preparation process. The structure of the Indian Bank Security Guard exam will give you the details of the name of the subject, the number of questions, the number of marks and the total marks, the time duration, and the type of the examination. The mode of selection as follows:

(A) Objective type Test – Online.

(B) Test of local language.

(C)Physical fitness Test.

(D)Preference will be given to aspirants having valid commercial driving license of Light Motor Vehicle.

(A) Objective type test

The Objective type test carries 60 questions for the time duration of 90 minutes (Max marks 40).

For the conduct of a further round of the selection process aspirants will be shortlisted in the ratio 1:5 i.e. for one vacancy; 5 candidates. In case two aspirants getting the same mark they will be ranked based on seniority of age i.e. senior aspirants will be given higher rank.

Penalty for incorrect answer: For each question for which an incorrect answer has been given by the aspirant, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left blank,  there will be no penalty for that questions. If the total of the penalty for a test is in fraction number, the marks obtained will be rounded off to the nearest integer number.

Evaluation of Local language Test will be done for only those aspirants who qualify in the Online Examination.

(B) Test of local language

Test in local language will carry 10 questions. This will carry one mark each. Minimum required marks in the test local language will be 40 % for Unreserved Category and 35 % for reserved categories.

 (C) Physical fitness test

The Physical fitness test will consist of

(1) 5 meter shuttle in one minute

(2) Push-ups

(3) Sit ups

The marks for the fitness test are given below:

(D) Preference to aspirants who have valid commercial driving license for light motor vehicle

10 marks will be awarded to aspirants who have valid commercial driving license for minimum of light motor vehicle.

Indian Bank Security Guard 2022: Selection Criteria

Aspirants who will apply for Indian Bank Security Guard 2022 will have to go through a total of 4 phases:

• Online Objective Type Examination(40 marks) – Aspirants will be qualified in a ratio of 1:5 and only qualified aspirants will advance to the later stages.
• Test of Local Language(10 marks) – Aspirants who will qualify the Online Examination will be called for Local Language Test.
• Physical Fitness Test(40 marks) – Aspirants will be marked on 3 events 5 meter shuttle in 60 seconds, push ups and sit ups.
• Valid Commercial License(10 marks)– Aspirants having a valid Commercial License of Light Motor Vehicle will be given preference.
