Jharkhand Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification
The educational qualification criteria for fulfilling the eligibility conditions are given in the following table for various positions:

• Inspector of Police Graduation or Equivalent qualification from a recognized University ; minimum qualifying marks.
• Sub Inspector of Police Graduation degree from any recognized university ; minimum aggregate marks required.
• Superintendent of Police Graduation from any recognized University.
• Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Must be a graduation degree holder.
• Senior Constable Should have completed 10+2 (senior secondary) from any recognized University or board.
• Head Constable Must have completed the 12th from recognized board.
• Constable Must be a matriculation Certificate holder.
• Home Guard (Rural) 7th standard from any recognized board.
• Home Guard (Urban) 10th standard from any recognized board

Age Limit
The age limit for every post under the Jharkhand Police 2021 is different from post to post. Though a general minimum age has been set at 18 years, and the maximum age for applying is 55 years. The age criteria of various officers and constables is given in the table below:
